Two years ago I moved out of state. Until that point I always had delicious applesauce from my mom's own apples and 'applesauce making equipment.' Two years later we have long since eaten all our bottles of applesauce from her. It was a sad day. We have purchased store bought applesauce and it doesn't even come close to being the same product. So when I came across this recipe I was pretty excited. I always make a double batch and my boys it it all in one sitting. We like it as a side dish with dinner or for an after school snack. It is definitely a favorite in our house. I hope you love it too!
