In college I fell in love Costco's chocolate muffins. Except I don't live by a Costco anymore. So when I saw this recipe from the baker upstairs for Chocolate muffins, I was excited to try it out. I am here to say that these were not even close to being as good as Costco's, let alone worth the dirty dishes it took to make these babies up.
Uhhhhh what a disappointment. They were SOOOOOO dry, and in need of some more sugar.
So if you know of a good chocolate muffin recipe please share. I'm also open to suggestions on how to improve this recipe. Is there something I can throw in there to help up the moisture? maybe 1/2 cup applesauce? Please help me. I need some costco muffins.
P.S. sorry Jessica. I had to include a photo. It's in my wannabe blogger's blood. (also did you know it's way easier to photograph a muffin that a toddler wearing a handmade dress? who knew?)
